New Cleaning Service

For the start of 2006 we have added a new cleaning service to our already large and varied specialised cleaning services we offer. As of the New Year we are able to provide a complete cleaning service to petrol filling stations. We can clean their canopies and signage on a regular basis as well as the forecourt. We realise that that forecourts are subject to frequent spillages and are therefore able to provide a 24 hour call out service to clean up any spillages. Thus the forecourts can be kept in pristine condition with no nasty staining.

Christmas Party

Just to say a big thank you to David, Les, Rose and Gem for all their hard work in arranging such a brilliant christmas party for the sparkle staff. Yet again, an excellent night that seemed to be enjoyed by all, so thank you all very much. It is events like these that make staff like myself feel valued as members of a team that feels more like a family. I've worked for Sparkle from the begining and have always felt valued and happy working with such a fantastic team. I hope you have all had a relaxing christmas, and thank you again. Laura.

Monday - Start of the run up to Christmas

Monday morning off to Bristol to carry out a builder's clean on a garage showroom. Set to take most of the day. This will involve the showroom windows and a carpet clean as well as the normal cleaning following builders. Tuesday is a rest day as we will be working all night in a health club in London. So wednesday is a rest day also! Thursday will be completing the cleans for everybody before closing down for the Christmas break. So come 7.0pm on thurdsday night we should be finished until the 29th. 5 days without cleaning this is a minor miracle!
That is the schedule anyway whether we manage to stick to it is another matter. The last entry into here should be thursday night before signing off for 5 days as I am hoping to go away for the break.

Thank You To Our Cleaning Staff

We have nearly reached the end of yet another year. Another year in which politicians have succeeded again in making our lives difficult and a variety of events have confirmed my belief that human beings have a wonderful capacity for being stupid, petty, small minded and a constant source of irritation, (with quite a few exceptions!) It might have something to do with getting older and grumpier!
However the main purpose of this posting is to give a public thank you to our cleaning staff. These individuals work tirelessly with little thanks from the actual customers. However they are the main stay of any cleaning company and ours are not an exception in this. In particular I would like to single out just a few. The reason for this is that they are always willing to put themselves out, do that little bit extra and step into the breach when required. Those who deserve a special mention are, LAURA, JOHN, HEATHER and EILEEN. Apart from Eileen they do not have a permanent base and are our mobile team which means they have to be flexible and above all good at what they do. One moment they could be working on a builders site doing a builders clean and the next in a country mansion carrying out a specialised clean. So a big thank you to them in particular.

Years End

The year is certainly coming to a very busy end. All and sundry are trying to get everything clean and tidy before Christmas. Builders are rushing through their projects to get them cleaned before Christmas and homeowners are desperately trying to get their properties clean and in shape for the festive break. So much so that we are busy every day and some nights until the 22nd of Decembers. We are in Eastbourne, Bristol and London as well as Dorset and Hampshire. This is one of the few times where we are actually saying no to customers. There are however only so many hours in a day!
The Christmas Party went exceptionally well and I take this opportunity to wish all our staff a Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year and give them a big thank you for all the hard work they have put in over this year.

National Cleaning Contracts

A number of corporate companies with outlets across the UK know the benefits of developing national cleaning contracts as it simplifies the accounting process and they only have to deal with one company rather than a number of smaller ones spread around the country. A number of the larger cleaning companies are able to provide this service.
